We are searching for skilled engineers who are interested in assisting with the scaling and automation of our infrastructure as we expand our customer base and process more data.
As a rapidly scaling technology company, we are expanding our commercial deployments team to support revenue growth. We are currently looking for a machine learning engineer to join our growing team. In this position, you will work closely with our deployments team to deliver cutting-edge analytics/software solutions to our customers. Specifically, you will be responsible for building and maintaining multiple stages of our data processing workflow, including ingesting raw customer data, tuning and deploying ML models, and presenting results in client-facing web applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning models to drive value for our customers
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure, which includes computing, storage, network, and security.
- Build and manage Kubernetes clusters & containerization of applications.
- Ensure overall system up-time, reliability, and security, while being mindful of costs.
- Monitor and test global application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work closely with the software engineering team to implement those fixes.
- Advocate for system and operational improvements in feature/project discussions.
Desired Skills
- You are highly technical and analytical, with 4+ years of machine learning experience
- You have experience building and managing large pieces of cloud infrastructure as code, using providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, with tools such as Chef, Terraform, Puppet, ansible, cloud formation, and salt stack
- You have solid skills in at least one modern programming language (Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or Java)
- You have experience with at least one type of datastore (MySQL, Postgres, InfluxDB, MongoDB)
Bonus Points
- Experience with PyTorch
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and KubeFlow
- Background in time series analysis, Gaussian processes, hidden Markov models, and/or variational inference
- Direct experience working with enterprise customers
$95,000 - $130,000 a year
