Software Developer - NYC Based

We are currently seeking a NYC-Based Software Engineer to join our team.

This opportunity is a hybrid role that requires the incumbent to be in-person at our downtown Manhattan location. We are looking for someone able to join our team within 2 to 3 weeks.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team at ADAPT Community Network. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Power Platform, SQL Server, query languages, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Data Warehouse. This role requires a detail-oriented and innovative professional who is passionate about developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that support our organization's mission and goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of the Software Developer will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Develop and Maintain Applications: Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Database Management: Manage and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
• Query Development: Write and optimize complex queries using various query languages to extract, manipulate, and analyze data effectively.
• Data Integration: Utilize Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Warehouse to integrate data across multiple sources, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for developed applications and systems, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of developed solutions, including design specifications, user guides, and technical manuals.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to existing systems and processes.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Microsoft Power Platform, SQL Server, and Azure Data Warehouse.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and experience with database design, management, and optimization.
• Experience with query languages such as SQL, T-SQL, and others.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Warehouse.
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, and JavaScript is a plus.

COMPENSATION: $80,000 Annually + Industry Leading Benefits!

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, Hybrid (3 days in office)
