What we are looking for:
 

Amsive is looking for a Sr Manager, Data Analysis and Strategy to join our growing Media team. In this role, you'll be focused on driving profitable growth for large digital media-focused clients by helping to extract  insights and performance from their data. You'll do this by finding key opportunities such as product trends, customer lifetime value segments, and correlations between ad-platform KPIs and customer lifetime value. You will also help our clients discover how to use their internal analytics tools to truly understand performance.  

Our ideal candidate will have experience in analytics platforms (such as GA4 and Adobe Analytics) and with reporting platforms (such as PowerBI). They will need a deep understanding of how to analyze large data sets to find the factors that drive performance. As well as, knowledge of how to set up and run tests to determine which ad campaigns/platforms are driving incremental new customers. They will also have the ability to clearly and concisely communicate plans for testing, analysis, and results to clients.

What you will be doing:
 

  • Conduct deep dives into analytics platforms and other types of databases to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Work with clients and Amsive team to turn trends and insights into actionable changes to the client's advertising, promotions, messaging, product mix, and website flow.
  • Work with clients and Amsive team to ensure that Amsive's reporting elevate data and insights that will allow the client to make intelligent business decisions. Also, ensure that all regular data pulls and analyses are automated as much as possible.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure that the sales data in various platforms (Google, Meta, DSPs, E-commerce Engine, Analytics, CMS, etc) align with each other.
  • Identify tests that Amsive and its clients can perform to drive growth. Develop the plans for the test, assist with sell-through to clients, assist with test implementation and maintenance, and report the findings.
  • Be the face of Amsive to the client on analytical topics, interacting with them in both formal and informal settings.

 

Who you are:
 

  • Strong client-facing experience at a digital media or performance marketing agency or similar environment.
  • 5+ years of experience working in analytics and expertise on reporting platforms (GA4, Adobe Analytics, PowerBI, Rockerbox, etc)
  • Extensive background in how digital media is purchased and run (Google, Meta, TTD, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of how advertising platforms’ tracking pixels work
  • Strong knowledge of how to measure the true incremental lift generated by ad platforms, including search, social media, and programmatic platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of e-commerce strategies and tactics is preferred
  • Excellent and frequent oral and written communication skills, especially around analytical concepts and methods; comfort with interacting directly with C-Suite clients
  • Ability to travel 1-2 times per quarter.

What is important to have:

 

  • Excellent expertise with PowerBI, including DAX and Power Query, as well as Python
  • Superior ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way
  • Comfortable presenting findings to C-Suite clients and joining in-depth discussions
  • Superior Ability to create data visualizations to communicate complex data in the most effective way
  • Ability to overcome any obstacles you may encounter, including client contacts being slow to respond, team mates not knowing where to find specific pieces of data, etc.
  • Ability to break down and understand complex business problems, define a solution, and implement it.
  • An Ability to find insights that will move the needle
  • Deep understanding of and proficiency with statistical concepts. Be ready to run regressions.
  • Familiarity with creating and implementing data taxonomy governance best practices across multiple ad platforms
  • Excellent attention to detail
