Greystone Real Estate Advisory Group, a division of Greystone Select, is a consulting firm providing real estate services to public institutions and state and local agencies. Services include brokerage; lease administration; disposition coordination; legal document preparation; preparation of public requests for proposals; transit-oriented development consulting, construction management; billing, collection, and accounting; and insurance compliance.


We are seeking a highly organized and self-directed System Administrator familiar with and capable of providing technical support for Yardi Commercial Voyager 7S (“System”). This position requires attendance three days a week at the client’s office at 2 Broadway in Lower Manhattan or Greystone’s office at 505 8th Avenue in New York. 


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Provide technical support for Yardi Commercial Voyager 7S (“System”).

  • Track, resolve, and coordinate the processing and resolution of requests for system technical support service as received from the staff of our client, the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), and its contractors (collectively “Client”).

  • Escalate requests that are unable to be resolved directly to Yardi’s technical support service (“Yardi”).

  • Monitor and respond in a timely manner to Yardi as needed until the issue/request has been resolved or otherwise closed out to the Client’s satisfaction.

  • Types of requests or issues the Coordinator is expected to directly resolve may include but are not limited to: new passwords, account set up, updating account trees, troubleshooting unreconciling reports, granting specific permissions to a licensed user, etc.

  • Provide technical support and training for approximately 90 Client users among 8 different System modules, and will log in, track, and report on the status of each request, including the time spent resolving each request whether by the Coordinator or Yardi, billing increments/hours utilized by Yardi.

  • Assure that all Client requests and or issues concerning or within the System are timely addressed and resolved.

  • Monitor compliance with contract provisions, and perform such other duties as assigned.


Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:



  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Yardi System back-end implementation and extensive knowledge of Yardi Commercial modules.

  • User knowledge of Yardi 7S commercial software including the following modules: Accounting, Budget and Forecasting, Construction, Elevate, Tenant Management, Leasing, Payables, Yardi Tenant Portal/Commercial Café, and Leasing Manager.

  • Highly organized and capable of prioritizing and executing multiple assignments simultaneously.

  • Ability to follow through with the Client’s issues/requests for resolution and to review/prepare reports.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, and real estate databases.

  • Knowledgeable of accounting concepts, commercial real estate terminology, and concepts.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to professionally represent and interact with the Client’s staff at all levels and all other internal and external parties involved.

Greystone offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $125,000/year. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
