We are looking for an IS Network Engineer who is passionate about service and making a difference to join our diverse and talented team of IS professionals.  Working at corporate headquarters in New York City, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for maintaining, implementing, and providing a high level of technical support to AAA’s networking infrastructure. Working in an environment that contains at least 1500 networking nodes and 200 physical and virtual servers, the Network Engineer will apply functional knowledge of Cisco networking/F5/Juniper/Palo Alto in order to implement and maintain network topology nation-wide, and supports level 2 systems and level 3 network case escalations, troubleshooting complex network and server issues.

  • Administer and manage Switches and Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancers and Proxy Services.
  • Assist in design and implementation of network architecture for the organization, incorporating redundancies.
  • Configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN equipment and related services.
  • Create and maintain documentation for implemented networks.
  • Manage maintenance and problem resolution of network devices.
  • Plan and implement network device software and firmware part of Lifecycle Management

Qualifications

 Minimum Requirements:

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, and five years or more experience working in network technology; or an equivalent mix of education and information technology.

 Software Proficiency: Expert proficiency in Networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Switching, and Routing); Server and Workstation systems; WiFi and other data transport technologies (VoIP, Fax, etc.); Strong knowledge in utilizing Networking tools to troubleshoot and analyze; knowledge of application protocols.

Other: CCNA certification required and CCNP certification a plus.

Additional Information

Compensation: $115,000 - $120,000/ Yr.
