Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for an IT Support Technician in New York, NY. Β This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and offers outstanding benefits.









Responsibilities






  • User account setup and maintenance
  • New user, computer, mobile device and peripheral setup, maintenance, and support
  • Primary contact for user and systems support
  • User training including security training
  • Must be able to document problem resolutions within trouble tickets and maintain written documentation
  • Monitor dashboards and respond to incidents/alerts
  • System imaging and deployment
  • Periodic travel to our satellite offices
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required

Qualifications






  • Education: Bachelor's degree (computer science or related technology field preferred); Will consider an associate degree with relevant certifications
  • Relevant IT certifications highly desirable
  • 3-5 years IT support experience in a Windows environment; professional office experience preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work
  • Experience with Active Directory, Print Management, and Windows Server
  • Proficiency with troubleshooting end user computer, mobile devices, remote access, and A/V issues, including hardware, software, network, and Windows OS
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Video conferencing (Zoom preferred)
