Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time IT Support Technician/Help Desk Technician for a federal construction project related to complex rail, transit, and other transportation projects in NY & NJ. 

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of full-time experience in Information Technology, particularly specializing in handling PMIS implementation in a construction setting, as well as a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
This position will be full-time, on-site. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York metropolitan area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage daily project management functions to control scope, schedule, and risk mitigation, ensuring project progression and quality, while providing IT support under IT management.
  • Handle IT systems implementation and administration.
  • Track and document crucial project markers to ensure the on-time delivery of IT project goals.
  • Participate in update meetings to relay and address client concerns.
  • Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously and follow through on projects to successful completion.
  • Other related duties and tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in: Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or related required advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant IT Support/Help Desk Technician experience, preferably relating to construction.
  • Proficient in eBuilder, Oracle Unifier, and similar PMIS tools.
  • Strong data management skills, with expertise in PowerBI, Microsoft Office, Acrobat, Access, Excel, and database structures.
  • Ability to pass a TWIC and/or SWAC Background Check at High Level.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
