Job Description

Responsibilities
• Active Directory Administration and Management
• DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Administration
• Exchange 2007, 2010 Administration and Management
• Windows Server 2003, 2008 Administration and Management
• VMware Infrastructure
• EMC SAN Administration
• RecoverPoint Replication
• Backup Administration (practical experience with at least one of the
following: NTbackup, Netbackup, Backup Exec, etc)
• Multi-site environment
• High skill with most operating system commands/utilities
• Fundamental understanding of an operating system; for example,
understands disk storage and partitioning, scheduling tasks, ntbackup
command line, installation and configuration
• Comfortable with most aspects of operating system administration, for
example, configuration of mail systems, system installation and configuration,
printer systems, fundamentals of security, installation of third-party software
• Familiarity with networked/distributed computing environment concepts; for
example, can use nslookup, tracert, add workstations/servers to domains, and
map remote filesystems, understands basic routing concepts and VPNs)
• Ability to write scripts in some administrative language (VBscript,
Batch,Powershell a must!)
• Dell/HP/IBM Server Hardware Experience a plus
• Data Center management a plus


Qualifications

Qualifications
• 4 year college degree, preferably a B.S in a technical science
• 2+ years experience in an administering an enterprise environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of communicating
clearly and concisely technical concepts to end users
• Experience working with a ticketing system, tracking work done in hours and
completing work according to set schedules
