Our East Region Capital Markets team is looking for a talented graphic designer to join its high-paced environment. This individual must be highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create well-designed print and digital collateral for the Capital Markets Group, including Offering Memorandums, Broker Opinion of Value documents, new business proposals, presentations, and general marketing materials. A focus on complete project ownership and management is critical.
The Graphic Designer will also support online marketing efforts and new technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, be able to multi-task, and contribute to the creation of the service line collateral, and other general marketing projects.
Develop and execute creative, innovative marketing programs for the Capital Markets team, with a focus on the New York market and the broader East Region.
Design a range of marketing collateral, including offering memorandums, proposals, presentations, e-blasts, social graphics, floor plans, maps, signage and flyers using tools within Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Responsible for tracking workflow and ensuring that jobs are completed in required time frames to client specifications
Support email marketing campaigns, digital assets, and online platforms to boost listings and proposals, using our email marketing platform
Design research materials, including market reports, newsletters, white papers, and other market positioning deliverables
Create InDesign/PowerPoint presentations, layout and design of proposals, flyers working closely with key stakeholders on concept and messaging
Always maintain brand consistency in line with global corporate standards
Create promotional videos and interactive websites for key listings
Remain abreast of Avison Young’s new technology and innovation initiatives and identity areas of use in the local market; commitment to evolve skills with changing needs
Collaborate closely with brokers, marketing teams, and clients to develop customized, client-specific materials that effectively communicate key messages
Manage the production process, from concept to final product, ensuring adherence to project timelines and client expectations
2-4 years of experience in creative graphic design
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator; and Microsoft Office

Proven ability to provide creative marketing solutions upon receiving project brief
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Works well under pressure
Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
Post-secondary degree or diploma in graphic design
HTML, video editing, website and print design experience are all considered assets
Commercial Real Estate experience or working in a corporate environment is a plus
